These bracelets are a beautiful example of the stone Dalmation Jasper . Though Dalmatian is not a true Jasper, but rather a composite stone, combining creamy colored chalcedony With dark inclusions of Arfvedsonite causing the interesting spotted pattern. The stone is primarily mined in Chihuahua Mexico,though can be found in smaller amounts in other countries. While the actual date of Dalmatian Jasper specifically is not known the finding of ancient tools And weapons dated far back into antiquity.Since its discovery, it was thought that the black spots were actually black tourmaline and were sold as such, and even still, you might hear the description of the same manner. Google actually refers to the black spots as being black tourmaline but if further research is done, the following GIA publication is found. GIA published that the 2017 study of the  stone proved  that the black dots were in fact Arfvedsonite.  The flashes can be found in blue, black,  or brown if in the right lighting situation and are quite lovely.
