Plum Blossom Jade aka  Plum Blossom Jasper, Ru Jade. While realistically speaking, the material is not a true jade at all. It is a volcanic stone, which is the black base color mixed with rubellite , calcite being the reddish, pinkish  colors, and the white and the light yellow  swirls and designs within the stone that resemble tiny, thin vines, and circles are actually crinoid fossils. If you take a flashlight to a piece of this beautiful stone, you can get lost forever looking for the different designs. This material produces a unique variety of vibrant, natural colors. One specimen can look quite different than the next. This beautifully dark yet vibrant piece will add  a unique color yet add the dark vibe of a dragon head to any collection.
